Cavitation control in mining liquid systems

Mining operations use liquid piping systems for water movement, process support, equipment service, dust control, and other demanding applications. Cavitation can develop where high flow and pressure reduction combine with turbulent or changing operating conditions.

  • Demanding service conditions. Mining systems may face high flow, variable operating conditions, and harsh environments.
  • Maintenance burden. Repeated wear near restrictions or downstream piping can create costly downtime.
