Industries We Serve

Orifice plates from Restrict Flow are used across various industries when dependability, expertise, and precision are critical. Our on-staff experts can help determine the right solution for any application within these and other industries. Contact Restrict Flow to learn how our proprietary 'Anti-Cavitate Orifice Plate'™ may be right for your application.

Nuclear Power

In a nuclear power plant, an orifice plate can be used to accurately measure the feedwater flow. Orifice plates are often used in place of a venturi when a more accurate determination of the feedwater flow rate is needed. Although orifice plates are easiest to maintain, cavitation gradually erodes the plates, increasing orifice diameter and reducing the accuracy of measurement. Following ASME and ISO standards, Restrict Flow’s 'Anti-Cavitate Orifice Plates'™ are designed to provide accuracy while reducing cavitation due to the differential pressure within the pipes. Natural Gas

Measuring and controlling fluid flow is the most common use when dealing with natural gas. As the fluid flows through this, a pressure drop is developed and a problem may arise if any bubbles of vapor or gas disrupts the pattern of the flow causing major turbulence. To avoid those scenarios Restrict Flow offers their 'Anti- Cavitate Orifice Plate'™ which solves fluid flow problems.

Water Treatment Plants

Water Treatment plants require an effective method to measure and record waste gas flowing from the digesters to the boiler room burners. This is an important process to remove sediment, bacteria and other impurities that can lead to contamination. Contact one of our highly skilled engineers to discuss how Restrict Flow’s 'Anti-Cavitate Orifice Plate'™ can be used in your water treatment plant.

Petrochemical

Fluid flow measurements are crucial in almost every aspect of the petrochemical industry. With variables such as temperature, viscosity, differential pressure, and oil specific gravity, choosing the correct orifice plate can be imperative. An inefficient orifice plate can be detrimental to overall productivity, and typical orifice plates are prone to erosion due to turbulence and cavitation. Talk to one of our experienced engineers to discuss where our 'Anti-Cavitate Orifice Plate'™ can increase efficiency in your facilities.

Pharmaceuticals

We understand the importance of removing spores during steaming or protecting critical gauges after use. Our 'Anti-Cavitate Orifice Plate'™ can help you maintain the quality of your product in a cost effective way by reducing pressure and restricting flow in the piping system, while avoiding unwanted damage caused by cavitation.
